My name is Kate and I am a 7th and 8th grade Language Arts teacher at Antigo Middle School in Antigo, Wisconsin. I have been teaching Language Arts for 11 or 12 years (ha! They say that's the first to go!). Previously, I taught Special Education/Emotional/Behavioral Disorders at the Middle School for 5 years. I had been blessed with 8 years at home while our 2 children were small after initially teaching Sp Ed in Antigo at the elementary level my first 4 years out of college. I graduated from the University of Maine, Farmington and have a Masters Degree of Ed. from Viterbo College. I am excited to be working with an iPad and discovering its many educational ramifications. I also greatly appreciate the opportunity to be able to take a graduate course from Marian right here in town. I enjoy professional development opportunities, especially those having to do with the ever-changing realm of technology.
